The Question of God

This is a book comparing C.S. Lewis' and Sigmund Freud's worldviews. I liked it because it was like reading two biographies and two theories in one book, and it was interesting + easy reading.

I didn't much get, or buy, Sigmund Freud's worldview. C.S. Lewis made more sense to me, he’s down-to-earth yet profound whereas Freud’s "intellectual" but convoluted and his theory just seemed made-up.

Freud suffered a great deal in his life. Poor fellow, in the end, I think he had a terribly hardened heart.

C.S. Lewis also suffered, but in the end, he was like one refined by fire and his last days were peaceful, cheery (though he was ill) and dignified.
